Tess was very happy to meet at least one of her friends on our walk in the estuary.  Her doggie friend is a rescue about the same age as Tess and had quite a few homes before my friend got her from a re-homing centre about 8 months ago.  She can't always be off the lead though as will chase birds in the estuary.  Today however, with Tess around she just wanted to play and have fun.  My friend is super fit and last Sunday she came first in her age group in the Ullswater Epicman Triathlon.

The weather forecast was spot on today .... rain all afternoon and its currently chucking it down!  Apparently June was the fourth wettest month on record for Cumbria!
