The Unvarnished Truth

Way too hot again.

Nobody ever thinks of Germany as a hot country - trust me, it is. 38°C today.  Could be worse - Paris was over 40°C and places in Spain had 46°C.

In exciting news flights have been booked to London.  We're going to have our first holiday together since 2019.

Definitely paying a visit here.  London is fantastic for food, so recommendations would be very welcome.  An attempt at booking a table at Gymkhana failed because they have tables free in September and we're going to be there at the start of August.
