Convoy (Day 3708)
The day started with a bunch of errands in town, then after a quick stop at home, my beautiful wife and I zoomed to Stromness. We got the field chores out of the way and were joined by L for a ride out on the horses. HV was on Red, L on Beeps, and I rode George. We took the same route as Sunday, but stopped off for a coffee and a bun at one of the cafés in Stromness. Drinking coffee while holding George who wanted to eat my bun was tricky, but I managed.
It was a cracking ride with the girls, something we should probably all do a lot more often.
Back home, I had a quick change of clothes then headed to town to sort out a leaking toilet. I'm pretty sure the really rubbish installation was to blame.
Next on the list an appointment with the physioterrorist at the hospital to discuss my ongoing sciatica treatment. The appointment was supposed to be to see how I was getting on after my spinal injection. Having not had the injection, and with no indication of when it might happen, the appointment was a waste of everyone's time.
Extras of HV and L leading the way along the shore and a view back towards Stromness.
