Fledgling

This fledgling has been hopping around our back yard for a day or so. Whilst my back was turned it hopped into the house and had to be ushered out again.

Don’t know whether it was abandoned by its parents or succumbed to the heat but unfortunately it didn’t make it. I was rather upset that despite putting water out and some food it didn’t make it.
