We are making up for a lost week last week.

Himself is tasked with emptying the old larder come DIY cupboard, painting it, sorting through the stuff, and putting it back together. He has told me it's a weeks job, if that. So far, he has emptied it, with my help. He has washed it down, and I have filled and caulked it. Tomorrow, he plans to walk with Davie, so there is no painting. Friday, he has a mid morning coffee/lunch date.....Im wondering when the things all over the lounge floor will be put back in the cupboard.

I am recycling a kitchen display cabinet. I've sanded and cleaned it, removed doors, painted the main body and the two full doors. I've bought and cut a backing board and wallpapered it, and I've bought a strip light set to go inside. I am looking after Cal tomorrow, a full day, so I will be doing nothing to it. Rest assured, my project will be finished on Friday.

I also found time today to go to the allotment to feed the greedy squashes, courgettes, and pumpkins. Their bright, bright orange catching my eye. .
