Burn Beach Bruck

July has arrived, a beautiful sunny day, all day and night, really warm too.  A lovely breeze.  Please July, be good to us! 

I was working with James this morning, black bag waste on the mini essykert, then glass recycling bins.  The rest of the day working on my own.  I took mam home after work, spoke with uncle Leonard and Marvin.  Working in the shop this evening, busy as usual.  Feet up before bed. 

After moving and emptying two glass bins at Burn Beach, we discovered a lot of bruck, probably blown up over the winter months.  James sent me back in the afternoon to clear the mess, the rest of the car park, and along Main Street.  A day litter picking in the sunshine suited me perfectly.  Many locals and visitors were thanking me along the way, which was super nice.  I did finally get this bruck cleared, I'll keep an eye on this area in future.  Taken at Burn Beach, Main Street, Scalloway.
