Poppy

A few years ago Marian accidentally dropped a million poppy seeds (given by a friend) in the garden. We had a tremendous display but we've managed to get rid of most of them and just see a few each year. When I saw this one I decided to take a picture. I planned to come back later and take another pic but when I did, the petals were all gone!

It's been a very hot day so I don't know if they were blown off or dropped off in the heat.
