Filmhouse is back!

T and I went to the newly-reopened Filmhouse which had been closed since October 2022 after suddenly going bust. After a grass-roots fundraising campaign and later a major grant from the UK levelling-up fund and also other grants, enough funding was secured to do major repairs to the fabric of the building and also a comprehensive refit of the interior. 

It was good to be back and even though they sadly had no cakes, we enjoyed our coffees and then saw Nostalgia, an Italian film which hadn't been screened in Edinburgh before. It was terrifically acted although ultimately a tragic story.
