If You Were Searching...

...for a word to describe it, "DEAD" would spring to your lips.

This is was a common green darner. I found it this morning on the dirt road - looking like most of the *meat* has been removed from it by ants. But also looking like it probably was struck by a car before the ants did their work. Sad. But the wings! The wings are glorious.
