Snake maker
Ceramic class tonight, and although I've been going for two terms, I've never noticed this contraption before. It makes coils for pots and it was in action today.
Although I've really enjoyed the absorption of the creative process I can't say I've been super pleased with my output. A couple of hours only once a week, and only occasional firing, means that several (mediocre) projects are on the go at the same time. Then there is that element of 'fate'; something may crack in the kiln, and/or look completely different to what was anticipated after being glazed. I may get all my output together if I'm really stuck for a blip one day because, quite frankly, I don't know what else to do with it!
I wonder how many blippers of my age read my title as 'Shaker Maker' and had one as a child like me.
