Tiny bulb

I'm not sure what it is.  Probably a crocus.  Last year I planted some bulbs in one of the planters at the front of the house, but I hadn't put enough soil in the planter and it was a bit of a disaster with Daffodils and Tulips being long and leggy and another plant whose very small white flowers were half way down the inside of the planter.  Today I took everything out of the planter.  It was quite difficult to do as many bulbs had more or less joined together and were mixed in with the other plant and J had to dig deep and brought out everything that was all tangled together. 
When everything visible was out, I combed through the soil and collected all the strands of root/fiber so that the plant could not grow again.  While searching through all the earth I found a few very small bulbs and this is one of them.
