Cafe in Crofton

We went into Maple Bay today for a visit with family. Our cousins Amy and Doogie (DoogieVanIsle on Blip) live there, and our cousins Jess, Jan and their three kids from Alberta are staying with them for the week. It was so good to see everyone. We had a delicious lunch and fun interacting with Briar, Isobel and Myles, each a character, full of personality. 
We had to leave earlier than we expected when we had made plans to visit. It was a very hot 30C waiting for the ferry, which was delayed by half an hour. We walked along the boardwalk by the beach and sat in the shade while we waited. I walked up to the little cafe that's very close to the ferry lineup and took this photo. I took it quickly with the iPad from across the road, trying to get a photo in between cars that were passing. .The only one I took today, and one of the worse I've posted on blip! Oh well.  :-)
