Tiny Tuesday: Leaf Cutter Ant

We've driven past Northumberland Zoo (just off the A1 road north of Morpeth) loads of times, and we've always said to each other, "Must go there sometime" - but we've never been. So as we have Grandson P staying with us at the moment we reckoned it was a good idea to take him there.

We had a really good day and P was fascinated with the animals. It's not a massive zoo (no elephants, lions, etc) but there's quite a range of smaller animals. Naturally I took too many photos (as always!). However I've selected these two to blip as it's Tiny Tuesday, hosted by JDO this month (many thanks Jill!).

So I've chosen the leaf cutter ant for my main blip and a red-eyed tree frog for the extra. The light wasn't that bright for either of them (naturally they were indoors) but with a bit of processing they've come out OK.
