Under the front window (best viewed large)

The large pot in the front is actually what should have been the front porch hanging basket but never got put up so I stood it on a large tub and it looks quite good.
You can see how dry the grass is.

A bit cooler today, went shopping early, then took Tanzy a walk. 

This afternoon I watched a bit of Wimbledon, but I was also sorting out some bare patches on the back lawn sowing some grass seed, I have already applied fertilizer last week and it's looking better already, but I still need to put some more grass seed in patches. It's rain we need, I did water it last week. I water the plants with a milk bottle so I can allocate enough but still be careful how much I use.

watched some more Wimbledon later. Then watched Ruben Owen Life in the Dales. Loved this weeks, for those who don't watch it, the lads went to Whitby for his 21st Birthday, 100 mile journey all driving tractors.

Happy 1st July, it's not only here it's hot by the looks of things on the news.
