Darling Dahlia

This little pink pom-pom is standing out in the crowd in the rather over-blooming garden at the moment. Probably helped by me remembering to put some water on to the crusty soil last night!

A long work day, followed by a working session with daughter J this evening as she makes plans to start her own small business. I made dinner and realised how much I miss the kind of dinners I make, when I make dinner for her too! 

Determined to catch up with journals today, I have sprinkled stars mostly as I was so behind. Just standing by the back door as I write, listening to some unexpected rain. Well maybe people who check weather forecasts might have been expecting it. No hosepipe necessary tonight!
