Yellow

The bed in the corner of the garden used to be overgrown with lots of self seeded trees. Nigel and I removed them and over the years I’ve filled the bed with lots of yellow and white plants. The rest of the garden is mainly pink and purple.

I’ve chilled throughout the day as this evening Winchester Community Choir has held its summer concert. It was a very special concert as it celebrated our 20th birthday. Several people who have been involved with the choir were there and they were involved in the performances. One of the original founders was missing though as she died in 2013. I did the reading where we remembered her. She is still much missed.

We were raising funds for Read Easy, a charity that helps adults to read. I’ll let you know how much when I’ve counted the retiring collection.
