With the rest of the country experiencing a heatwave, up here in the North West, the weather was cloudy for most of the day with rain after 3pm.
The match was a junior County match. The teams playing were from Cumbria and a part of Yorkshire. I think they had finished before the rain started. We don’t normally have County matches on the pitch near us.
