A bee for the times

This is a Bombus Perplexus , or the Perplexing Bee. No idea why it is called that but I think it is my new favorite bee. Really fits with this era when everything this current administration  does is certainly perplexing  (as well as much of it being horrifying). Perplexing because why would you want to inflict this much damage on your own  country , especially when so much of the damage will fall on your own supporters. 
Poor bee  ! I shouldn't compare the two. It's a lovely little bright thing , happily pollinating the betony. Doing good.
