Chimney

Afternoon walk to Inverleith, where we found the swans, and the five tufted ducklings .. it takes a while to be sure they are all there, since they dive enthusiastically and wander off in the pond .. the chimney is at the Glenogle swimming baths, viewed from the Gabriel Road steps. 

My morning reading was a paper on the design of high-dimensional quantum optical circuits for entangled states of light; fishing out the meaning from the acronyms and the maths. Prep for a meeting ..

A much cooler day, 17C high and a NE wind.
