Mercedes-Benz Man

Today, on my meandering walk in downtown Eugene, I found a well-worn Mercedes-Benz sign on a fence.
As a bit of an automobile nerd, my interest was peaked as it was unlike any Mercedes-Benz sign I'd seen before.
A bit of online sleuthing made me laugh...
It is not a carmaker's sign.
Rather, it is the lid for a container of a collection of perfumes.
I wonder if this perfume's aroma has a hint of the intoxicating and ephemeral "new car smell".
