An Early Morning Story

The loveliest, and most interesting, part of my day is between 5 and 6 am! This morning was no exception. It started with a blackbird singing on a wall covered in ivy. Sublime. Then I looked up to the dappled sky, promising us a change in weather soon. I passed some voluptuous cloud-like Bindweed flowers growing in a hedge, so I placed them on a diagonal to the clouds.

Just as I was turning off to the last side street back home, I noticed two workmen on a building site getting an early start before the day’s heat.

My walks are more meditative than sporty so that I can enjoy all the details as I pass. I feel renewed when I get back home!
