Rusty Magnolia, evening

It's been a cool and very windy day in Brisbane, with clear blue skies. Winds have gusted to 65 km an hour. When I walked around the garden with a camera in the late afternoon I was lucky to get a photo of magnolia leaves during a lull between wind gusts.

Further south of us is an intense low pressure system, not technically classified as a tropical cyclone (hurricane/typhoon) but of similar intensity and destructive effect. Best wishes to all in the area who might be affected, including a number of blippers.
