Day 20 – I have no concept of time.

There were loads of photos to choose from today, but I’ve gone with this one: It sums up Nazaré perfectly — old meets new, slightly chaotic, a little salty, and weirdly charming.
So glad we didn’t skip this place. It’s got a really good energy — sort of like a Portuguese Polzeath, but with bigger waves. Apparently they’ve hit 30 metres here before. We're going to druve round to North beach tomorrow and dip our toes in.

Found three great places for vegan lunch today. For once we had a choice, not just a sad falafel wrap, a bit of a result.

The weather was overcast all day but still warm — around 23–25°C. If we’d stayed at the campsite, we’d have melted into the furniture. Thankfully the sea breeze saved us.
Spoke to G over FaceTime. She called to show us the Victoria sponge she made, then remembered the real reason for calling. It’s a sad one (her words) Clairebear had to take Chester for his final vet appointment today. His legs have finally gone.
