Did some tidying up and chores in the morning but the heat became very oppressive in the afternoon and I didn’t do much at all, other than walking to m and s and reading my book for a while. Very frustrating. It became a little fresher in the evening so I went out and did some dead- heading and watering. The highlight of the day was the arrival of this mini- fan. It’s effective and almost silent. Looking forward to a cooler day tomorrow
