Good News

This morning a contractor employed by the forestry company began removing tonnes of logs and debris left by last week's flood. More unwanted  heavy rain is expected tonight. The bird on the far side of the bridge is a pukeko.
Extra:  My neighbour felled a liquidamber in the middle of a gateway so the digger could fit through.
