Cheery neighbour

...poking its head over my Mum's garden fence. 

Mum and I had a quick trip to Morrison's in the morning - for a few essentials, but also to have a look at their plants.  We came away with a nice pelargonium for Mum's garden - and got back just in time for her lunchtime carer.  I realised I'd forgotten to get any mushrooms for our stir fry in the evening, so I popped back later and bought those - as well as another pelargonium (fancied one for myself!) and a couple of little houseplants.

Hot day again today, but I did a whole load more weeding in the afternoon, and laid some more weed control membrane - and worked out with Mum where some of her (other) new plants would go.

Cooked us a salmon stir fry in the evening, and then we sat out with a glass of wine in the garden until just before Mum's bedtime.  Lovely :)
