Today is pleasantly dry, breezy and 21.9c in the living room.

The wildfires in Scotland are very worrying.

I got on with my morning tasks and was glad to find that the slugs had not eaten my yellow petunias.

Paul completed this jigsaw and I photographed the complete picture for my other blip journal, grace301155.

We took a short drive to the next town, Great Harwood, where there are four excellent charity shops.

We had a quick browse of the jigsaw puzzles and bought three 1000 piece ones for a very reasonable price.

I bought a pretty crystal vase, because I like small floral arrangements on my table and the design of the vase was old fashioned with a scalloped rim.

Paul has started the jigsaw with a library of books.

I am having my tea and listening to Vianne on Audible. It is an enchanting tale.
