Lancaster Priory

I've taken this shot, and variants thereof, on every camera I've owned. As well as shots of the  building from different angles.

It is, as the title says Lancaster Priory. Also known as The Priory Church of St Mary.
It is next to the castle, and a Roman fort once spanned the whole site. Remains of a Roman bathhouse can still be visited- strangely hidden behind a multi storey car park.
There's been a church on that spot since at least 200AD, and possible earlier. That "first" church was replaced by a Saxon church in the 700s, and then in 1054 the Priory Church of St Mary was built, having parts replaced in the 15th Century and the tower last replaced in the 18th.
It's still an active church to this day, although a lot more happens in there now, including lots of secular events.

Nice though, innit?
Looks good in mono too, as my extra shows.
