Here we go again
The plan was to bale the hay on Wednesday, so I tedded it with the old rake in the morning and drove off to get nuts and pins for the assembly of the big rake and to pick Lauri up from the railway station.
I was just about to start assembling the rake, when the contractor called and asked, if he could come already tonight. Okay, I'll try to get it done, although I wasn't sure I can, with Jussi away for the night, but if I can't, I'll get the contractor's rake.
After three hours and 20 minutes, it started looking like a rake, with all the bits and pieces in place, just need to check the height and test it, when he called again. I got it done early enough!
I had a little snack before heading to the fields just after 8 pm. That was early enough, as the contractor was just starting baling on the previous farm. He had a long night coming, as he was going to drive the tractor and the baler to his son's farm far south before morning!
It was +23°C in the afternoon and quite good weather for the hay to dry, but another day before baling would have been good.
