A bleak morning followed by a dreich afternoon…sunshine is forecast for this evening so I’m hoping to get out for a walk soon. Up early(ish) to wait for an Open Reach engineer coming to connect me to full fibre. He eventually arrived about 10ish and as he was working in the hall I was restricted to the sitting room until he left an hour or so later. Made a birthday card, then a quiche before sitting down with a cuppa and the latest WI magazine.

The fuchsia is a mass of buds at the minute, promising a good show to come…if I’d thought about it you might have had a dawn photo when I woke with leg cramp!
