Minton Batch

Twelve days on from my misadventure I decided it was time for a decent long walk. This morning we set off to explore the less visited south-western end of the Long Mynd. It was a very windy nine mile walk with a big climb and some superb views across to the Stiperstones and the Cambrian mountains. My blip today is the view east over Minton Batch towards the Clee Hills. We stopped to eat our sandwiches on Minton Hill surrounded by whinberry bushes and a view looking right across Shropshire to the Malverns.
