SAUL

By sheer coincidence I ordered a photography book last weekend on Saul Lieter which was to be delivered today. 

Last night our friends arranged to meet us today at The Stables Cafe on the canal - about half way between us and them - with a postcode. It turned out to be Saul village in Gloucestershire on the Gloucester & Sharpness canal at it's junction with the Stroudwater canal. Amazing coincidence! 

We enjoyed a walk in the sunshine before a couple of hours in the cafe.
