Wheatear

The sun came out in the afternoon so we had a walk down Mickelden at the West end of Great Langdale.

The hope was to see the fells in good light and see Wheatears - Success.

I was pleased I managed to put the skyline behind this Wheatear.

Bonus was a good view  of a Yellowhammer which dropped off the wall and started to eat grass seeds not worried about us. see Extra photos for the Yellowhammer, a view down Mickleden to Rossett Pike and of course one of the Herdwick Lambs

Very windy but enjoyable.
