Hovering..

.. by the meadow rue.
A greater number of hover flies this year, more than usual I think,and earlier than usual.
It feels as if everything is just that bit earlier in the garden.
Phlox, which I always think of as late summer are already in flower.
Is the dry weather stressing them to perform early!
It’s certainly been stressing me out.. and I’m certainly not performing!!!!!
A littke cooler today so I caught up with some much needed, basic, very basic, domestic duties ..
Decided against travelling to my craft group as the hot weather plays havoc with my system , so leaving the house makes me nervous!.. won’t go into too many details!!!!
And I also wanted to be available for Lydia who had a doctor’s appointment and I was waiting for her to call.
It felt good to rest aswell
