Replacement

This coleus replaces a Japanese painted fern, which for some reason unknown to me, began to decline as soon as I potted it. The last frond showing signs of life gave up, and this morning, I took myself off to the nursery where I discovered to my delight, that all annuals were reduced by 1/3. There is a downside to this discovery though. I have run out of pots and there is no unplanted ground so I could not participate in this bonanza other than this replacement coleus.
