It was great to see a herd of Fallow Deer on our late evening walk, although I don't expect the farmer would be too impressed with them trampling his ripening crop of wheat.    
The combines have been busy harvesting the Barley and the straw has already been baled and stacked.    It's scary how the seasons are hurtling away.
