As the seasons come and go. . .

I came in from work, and and Si and I just chilled in the garden.   We chatted about our respective days, and life in general.  Then I did 10 minutes on the walker.  I did a lot of walking at work today, so don't need to do much to reach my 10K.

That being said, after a lovely tea of bacon butties... we headed up to the allotment, where after a thorough examination of our plots, we walked up and down the paths of everyone else's plots.

It was  a gorgeous evening, but the only birds I heard were Blackbird, thrush and chaffinch, and of course the obligatory rooks, and wood pigeon, which are almost a constant background noise just now.

After we walked, we drove round and looked at the beach, 9pm and all the shops / bars in town were quiet or closed.  Such a beautiful night so sad to miss out on life.

Home again, a wee cup of tea, and some Rebus.   I hope theres another series with Richard Rankin!  He was most excellent.

PS:  Si's plot in the photo- look at the work he has put in it - the paths, the beautiful cover for the sweet corn.   My baskets on the gate... and my plot to the top left of the photo.
