Butterfly

It is a miracle!  I actually managed to snap a butterfly. I usually scare them away the second I pick up my phone.

I spotted something in the garden as I was making lunch and sneaked out as stealthily as I could manage so as not to scare it away.

It felt a bit cooler today which was a relief. I will be back in the office on Thursday so I should have a much more pleasant commute now the heatwave looks like it is on its way out.

I am then off work again on Friday and for the following week which will be rather lovely!  So it will be a day of tying up loose ends for me before I escape the work grind for a bit.  

It has been rather nice having a week off, then going back in for a week and then having a second week off.  I think I liked it more than having a fortnight off.
