Old Cookbook

Today we are back to rain. some of our areas have been in civil defence mode for just under a week now, with flooding and excess surface water. there has been a number of slips and now we can expect possibly three more days of rain. So, we are inside warm and not getting wet. the wife has pulled out her recipe book and has started baking. I   found it interesting as it is her personal collection of other people recipes handwritten or a collection of loose pieces of paper. the book tells its own story with each stain on the pages. Its history and I know my two girls don't have any cookbooks that they have created.
