Wet
Today I worked from home, so missed going out in the heavy rain that fell for much of the day. After more catching up on things I'd neglected in recent weeks, I made good progress on a survey report as the first task of an industrial contract we won a few months ago. I'm assuming that the company and the University will eventually agree on the terms of the contract, but the respective lawyers are being very slow!
A went out in the evening, so I had to walk Django. Fortunately by then the sky had cleared and it was beautifully sunny, although rather wet underfoot. When I returned, daughter K had arrived because she's flying to France early tomorrow with A and is sleeping over with us. Meanwhile daughter L is in K's flat with her boyfriend - his first visit to Edinburgh, and the first time either has reached this stage with a lover. K approves, and A has met him. It seems as if I'll meet him tomorrow.
