My childhood palace, as it were!

My last day down south and I'd planned to go to the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, just a 15 minute bus ride away. We visited the Palace often as kids. I thought that the almost £40 entry was a bit steep though - the fact that I only saw part of it was my fault. I got rather fed up with trudging about in the heat - museum walk I call it - and though I saw lots of lovely plants I left by 2.30 to be picked up by my sister at 3.15 and taken to see other members of the family before going back to Hampton.

Off on the 09.51 train in the morning and all being well will arrive back in Oban by 19.42 - I really must buy my own aeroplane!
