Rose of Sharon

This part of my hedge is beginning to have a blast of yellow.  I have slightly darkened the background, but still keep the buds showing how tight they are before blooming.
Today it was quite breezy and so I increased the speed by using shutter speed to about 1/1000th of a second to 'freeze' the flower.
Today was the last U3A meeting for this season; starting again in September.  Activities were chosen so there will be something to put your mind on, plus visiting local events.
