I wasn’t feeling well when I got back from Keep Fat last night - stomach cramps, feeling sick, shivery and aching all over.

Thanks to our efficient local surgery, I got an appointment with the doctor this morning who diagnosed a particularly nasty flare up of the diverticulitis I’ve been prone to the last few years which had caused an infection. He prescribed a course of antibiotics for the infection and some mildly unpleasant powder containing ispaghula husk to keep things under control from now on.

Anyway, I felt (and looked, according to a Tess) much better than I did last night so we were able to enjoy our Tuesday evening Sophie time.
