The news of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota's death in a car crash alongside his brother was one such story. 

28 years old. A Dad to three children. A husband to his wife who he married just 11 days ago. 

A man of such talent. A cheeky smile. More than a team mate, but a friend, was the impression I always got. An adopted Liverpudlian. 

My heart goes out to his family and close friends. I just hope the words of the Liverpool anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone, can bring some solace over the coming weeks and months.
