New central heating boiler

Monday morning, before the heat set in, I cleared this corner of boxes, crates, vacuum cleaner and more. I had an appointment today to have a new boiler installed. After all that effort I got a call yesterday asking to postpone the appointment due to the heat. Okay, makes sense. Even if today was said to be much cooler. 

I didn't want to put all that stuff back yet yesterday. Nor today. A good thing I didn't do that. 

At 10.30 this morning the doorbell rang. Two maintenance men with a new boiler... It was fortunate that I was still home and had not made plans for today after the appointment was postponed. Something they hadn't been told about. They phoned the company and I'm glad they went on with the installation.
