Peas and strap
Dave had to leave earlier than usual due to the Bird Man of the Forth joining their voyage. I went to the allotment and spent some time grappling with chicken wire and tacks - no sooner was it attached to one than it pinged off the next one. Managed something anyway. Did some strimming, but shall have to re-wind the line as it keeps sticking in a most puzzling way. The battery was exhausted with the effort (me too). Still, picked some more broad beans and peas - enough petits pois to make it worth putting some in the freezer, that's a first for me. And lots more to come. It takes great restraint not to eat the lot by the handful, they're so delicious. First courgette flower has opened - although a male of course. Made me think of Pensioner and his courgette flowers - but that was last week. Now just his terrible grief.
New strap arrived that seems to be working with the Ogatodomar guitar (it's a classical guitar-type strap which hooks into the soundhole). Means I can play it standing up (which is much better for the singing). Onwards.
