I came across this peacock butterfly having a rest among the plants at B&Q. I was surprised at how ragged and neglected lot of the plants looked. These scabious, though, were glorious.

Meanwhile world news continues to be horrific. This afternoon I watched the documentary Gaza, Doctors Under Attack on Channel 4 catch-up. It’s both damning and devastating and is essential viewing. .
