Yorkshire Belle
Thursday 3rd June 2025
We were up and out by 6.10am! We were hoping to see the barn owl again. We did, but only in the distance. We photographed other birds instead.
After breakfast we went to Bridlington and caught the Yorkshire Belle boat for a 2.5hr trip round the coast back to Bempton to see the cliffs and birds from the sea. It was lovely and calm ... until we got past Flamborough Head. The swell was then quite big and toss the boat from side to side. It made me quite queasy! However, it was worth it as the cliffs were great to see and we enjoyed photographing the birds from the water.
After stopping at home for a cuppa we went back to the cliffs and saw the owl again for the last time.
