Very Narrow Driveway

I thought, after 4 times manoeuvring the Black Knight up this tricky driveway I thought it worth featuring it on my blip. It has particular significance as I had to do it at 12:15 am this morning and in the dark presents even more heart racing moments. This is the route up to our parking space by LV’s house. It starts with an entrance only 2 feet wider than the van at 90 degrees to a narrow road with a car parked almost up to the left wall of the entrance. It requires a back and forth movement in order to straighten up enough to miss the wall and the car consists of an immediate steep incline in first gear going as slow as I can to ensure neither side scrapes the brick wall. Then it’s onwards and upwards before several back and forth movements to finally park the van where it does not pose a blockade for LV’s car or the neighbours egress. Sort of a fun challenge! Shopping, Tennis, Cricket, tasty meal of sea bream with pesto drizzle - this time provided by the master of the house and the crossword once again completed. Only saddened by the death of one of the Liverpool football team and his brother in a car accident, Diogo Jota, a Portuguese striker who had a wife and 3 children and of course his parents lost 2 sons at the same time.
