Total disaster!

Had one of the worst disasters in the kiln - i was planning to deliver 70 ugly mugs today to the folks in Sydney, but i ended up with only 38!   see extra for the other shelf in the kiln that was a disaster!

Having just read about the material on their site, they do recommend testing it first!!!   so my bad really, should have read the fine print!!!

One of the ingredients in 2 of glazes has changed, actually the supplier substituted a new material for one i've used for ever!  this is the result! not sure i could have avoided this....materials often change due to mines changing etc., but i've never had this happen on such a grand scale! 

I'll check with the technician at my suppliers tomorrow and see if he has any tips!  but i'm thinking there won't much i can do - i will probably just have to get rid of the 2 buckets of these glazes and start them again from scratch.   Not only time but most of my ingredients are expensive and i make up 20k batches.

Not having a good day that's for sure, and i'm certainly feeling pretty upset....it'll take me a little time to let this one go i feel :(
